Avocado Dip with Sour Cream

2 large ripe avocados, peeled and pits removed
16 ounces sour cream
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
3 green onions, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
a few drops of Tabasco or other hot sauce

Cut avocados into pieces and place in a food processor with sour cream, chopped tomatoes, green onion, lime juice, and hot sauce. Cover and process until smooth. Chill thoroughly and serve avocado dip with crackers, potato chips, crusty bread, or vegetables dippers. Also great along side Hummus and pita bread.

Cheesy Salsa Dip

INGREDIENTS:

16 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 jar (16 ounces) picante sauce or salsa (or you can use one small can Chile – No Beans)

PREPARATION:

Place cheese cubes and picante sauce in a slow cooker or crockpot. Cover and cook on HIGH, stirring occasionally, until melted and blended, about 2 hours.

Serve right from the slow cooker, with tortilla chips or corn chips.

Spice it Up by adding any of the following:

1 to 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro, optional (add after done cooking)
1 cup Sausage – cooked and drained
Optional – Cumin, Hot Red Pepper, Tabasco, Green Chilies, or Jalapenos

Additionally, this is a really good when you mix 1 cup of dip with 1 cup of sour cream and pour over fresh chimichangas.

Easiest Dip Evah!

I wouldn't have believed it, had I not tried it myself.

1 8 oz tub sour cream
1 8 oz tub cream cheese (spreadable)
1 pkg Taco Seasoning (I used Schilling, less sodium)

Mix together, eat with chips of your choice.

I tried this will Ruffles, it was very tastey. I tried it with Fritos.  Mmm Mmm Good.  Then I tried it with Nacho Cheese Doritos.  Oh. My. Goodness.  I'll never eat jalapeno cheese dip again.  This is
my new favorite.

Then, I got funky with it.  In addition to the above, I added some chopped jalapenos and green onions.  Heavenly!

Feel free to leave me comments if you try it and if you tweak it.
